Who We Need:
We are looking to hire an experienced technical writer to help communicate products and document processes. If you’re hard-working, dedicated, and looking to grow fast, apply now at careers@chaka.ng.

What You Will Do:

• Develop a thorough understanding of the audience and the documentation required by meeting with colleagues, and working with managers to discuss technical problems
• Research and build knowledge about products, services, technology, or concepts to be documented
• Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information and instructions for greatest reader comprehension and writes and edits technical information accordingly
• Prepare or commission graphics and illustrations to elaborate on or complement technical writing
• Meet with subject matter experts in order to ensure that specialized topics are appropriately addressed and discussed
• Collaborate with translators as necessary to convert writing into a variety of languages
• Works with sales and marketing colleagues to ensure that the finished documentation meets product requirements
• Revise, edit, or update instructions, technical information, and frequently asked questions as necessary
• Create, adapt, and follow project schedules and deadlines
• Remain up-to-date on technological and product developments as well as universal specifications relevant to the technology industry

Preferred Background and experience :

• Proven work experience in Technical Writing
• Proven experience working in process improvement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
• Conversant with constant changes in the technological space.
